Spring Concert 2012

Thursday, March 8th, is the date set for our Spring recital.  Grades four, five, and six will be performing.  The theme of the recital is The Beatles.  We need to have the concert early this year because of standardized testing at the end of March, Easter time, and an extended April vacation.

Dress for the evening will be school uniform: boys - white shirt and tie (boys in the fourth grade will not wear vests, while boys in the fifth and sixth will wear vest if they have them) and girls - white blouse and school pants if you have them - if not then skirts/jumper (girls in fourth grade will not wear vests, while girls in fifth and sixth will wear vests, if they have them).  If you do not have long sleeve, short sleeve will be fine.  If you do not have any of the above, wear whatever you wear to school.  I do not ever want to give you more to do than you already have to accomplish.  I would like to make this as joyful as possible.

Recital time is 7 p.m.  Students need to report to their classroom at 6:30 p.m., unless they have been told to report to the cafeteria earlier (6:15 p.m.).

The children in these grades are kind, intelligent, warm-hearted and enthusiastic.  This is a reflection on the love and care that you give to them at home.  Thank you.

George Harrison said, "Life is a process of finding stepping stones and treading on them."  May all of us as children of God find our stepping stones and move carefully from one stone to the next, with kindness and compassion for each other.

God bless each of us as all of us.

Mr. Mitchell
