Benjamin "Sonny" Tropeano Memorial Garden
As some of you may know, a former OLA student Benjamin "Sonny" Tropeano passed away suddenly this summer. He attended preschool and kindergarten at OLA. Andrew Walton, an OLA parishioner and senior at Essex Tech is working on his Eagle Scout Project for his troop (Troop 48 of Lynnfield). He is planning to create a Memorial Garden in front of the OLA School around the statue of the Blessed Mother in Sonny's memory. The plan will be to clean up the area around the statue and extend the flower garden on the left and right of the Blessed Mother. As part of the Eagle Scout project, Andrew has to raise funds to complete the garden. If you would like to make a donation, you can mail a check to the OLA Rectory, 17 Grove St, Lynnfield, MA 01940 directed to OLA Memorial Garden Project.
